For decades, audio software has evolved incrementally. Sound quality improved, but with compromises. Processing power increased so much that it no longer is the bottleneck. The underlying structure, the way we organize, route, and manage creativity, has remained largely the same.

We still force musicians to act as system administrators, in a world that no longer rewards quality over quantity, but quality in quantity.
